I love stand-up. I love the creativeness that is sparked by it. Some comedians have gotten lazy and in this PC crazed-you can’t say that-world have resorted to being motivational speakers. Just telling stories with a couple chuckles included. Your stories can have a point, even a lesson, but come on! Its stand-up COMEDY! Its gotta have comedy in it too! That long rant is all setting up the return of Dave Chappelle to Netflix. Dave says stuff you’re “not supposed to say,” he tells stories, but most importantly he carefully and methodically crafts jokes. That’s right, he brings the funny! If you have never seen Dave before(yep, we’re on a first name basis), google him and then steal a friends Netflix password and check out his new special “Sticks and Stones” August 26th. You know its gonna be epic by the fact that he has Morgan Freeman doing the voice-over!
PS-If you have never seen real stand-up before, they say bad words. Morgan Freeman does too in this trailer. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! Now its on you whether you listen or not…its called personal accountability.
