Last week Eric posted to his blog about a woman from Canada that was being watched by a cougar, but then scaring it away by playing ‘Dont Tread On Me’ by Metallica. And…it worked.
The story pleased Metallica fans everywhere, including us, and Hetfield himself even heard about it, and responded in the best way possible. He called and texted her.
She told Global News, “He called me. He was so sweet, I’m still so excited” and “I would definitely give them all a big hug and thank them for saving my life.”
For reassurance, he texted her a selfie for “confirmation that it was me.”
