It’s official. The 50 Year Anniversary of Woodstock Festival will be celebrated in the biggest way possible… by bringing it back!
Here’s what we know so far:
- It’ll happen August 16th – 18th in Watkins Glen, NY
- Co-creator Michael Lang told Rolling Stone “It’ll be hip-hop and rock and some pop and some of the legacy bands from the original festival.”
- Tickets will go on sale in February
- The lineup will also be announced in February
Even though we have to wait another month for the lineup, it has been rumored that Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Eminem will be gracing the stage at the festival. And now we wait.
