Remember that Navy commercial where it said “if someone wrote a book about your life, would anyone want to read it?” I’d read a book about Dave Grohl’s life for sure and now we all get to watch a movie about it too! Well, not yet, but they just started filming a movie about Dave’s life. Dave’s Mom, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, was the one to break the news in an interview and several posts online. One of the most recent posts comes from an Annandale High School principal who spotted a film crew on his campus and learned that it was Grohl, who attended school there, shooting a piece. Grohl’s mother also was a teacher at the school. Virginia Hanlon Grohl said that the movie could involve Dave’s siblings as well. She did reveal that the movie focuses on his career “from Scream to Nirvana to Foo Fighters.” “We are doing that,” she added. “Coming soon.” No date or title has been released yet.
