Its not, its Payless Shoes mocking “social influencers” and self-proclaimed “fashionistas.” They knew these self-indulgent people wouldn’t set foot in a Payless store, so they created a fake store and invited people. Normally shoes at Payless range from around $20-$40. Palessi had the EXACT same shoes ranging from $100 to $600! Payless told the “influencers” they had been duped and then gave them their money back. You’ll probably see some of these “fashion-forward” individuals in upcoming Payless commercials.
Palessi? Sounds fancy!
