Way to go, East Nasty!! They were one of 14 of the best “hipster” places in the country.
Trip Advisor made a list of their ideal “hip” places, saying:
What makes a neighborhood hip? The number of microbreweries, independent coffee shops, and upscale farmer’s markets? How Instagrammable everything is? Or all of the above? Cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Boston are already well-known for their cool hipster neighborhoods, but many other urban getaways across the US boast their own bohemian street cred. Here’s our #nofilter roundup featuring some of the hottest hipster neighborhoods in the country.
I’m sure Crying Wolf, Mickey’s, Vinyl Tap, Rosepepper, Five Points Pizza, and Lipstick Lounge had something to do with East Nashville making the list. Here are the other neighborhoods that made the list, in no particular order…
- Wynwood (Miami)
- Rino (Denver)
- Montrose (Houston)
- Lawrenceville (Pittsburgh)
- Little Five Points (Atlanta)
- North End (Boise)
- Fishtown (Philadelphia)
- Ballard (Seattle)
- East Austin (Austin)
- North Loop (Minnieapolis)
- North Park (San Diego)
- Pearl District (Portland)
- Marigny (New Orleans)
Here’s what Trip Advisor said about East Nashville:
Realign yourself with nature at Shelby Bottoms Park, a 960-acre green space with more than five miles of trails through open fields and hardwood forests. Rent bicycles to explore Nashville’s Greenway System or take to the water on a Downtown Nashville Paddleboard Tour, a 2-hour paddle along the Cumberland River, leaving from Shelby Park.
