I would joke ALL day about “Hey you know what would be funny? If we sent a catfish to the NHL headquarters for making a bulls#!% call.” But I would never have the motivation to actually do it. That’s what a woman in Goodlettsville did though. She sent a real, live (well, technically a dead one) catfish to the NHL office in Toronto. Not all heroes wear capes.
That call, by the way… It cost us at least one point, much less the entire game.

HOW. DID. THAT. NOT. COUNT!!!
Obviously it left Preds fans freaking livid, and even the team themselves. But this woman pulled the ultimate EFF YOU move!
According to ABC News,
As Meeks was on her way to pick up two catfish from Little’s Fish Market in Germantown, she began wondering about the legality of her protest. So she called UPS, who then called Canadian customs to make sure it was OK to send two dead catfish across the border to protest a disallowed goal in a hockey game.
It was, and soon Meeks had sealed up the fish in a cooler — having written “YOU SUCK” in block letters inside its cover — and shipped them off, for a total cost of $150 for materials, postage and deceased sea creatures. She chronicled all of it in a Facebook video that went viral among Nashville fans, and called into a local Predators radio show to reveal her protest.
The NHL hasn’t commented on it yet, but come on! It’s all in good fun! It’s the least we can do after a call like that 😉
