It seems a cop dressed as Batman was doing some crime-fighting in Fort Worth, Texas!
Officer Damon Cole is known for dressing up in super-hero costumes for kid’s functions, and during a child safety fair at a local Walmart had to spring into action as the masked crusader. During the event he heard the alarm go off and he noticed a man leaving while a greeter was trying to stop him to talk.
“Cole said he followed the man to his car and identified himself as an off-duty police officer. When he tried to get the man to go back inside, Cole said the suspect denied having taken anything. The man eventually admitted to stealing four DVD’s, including a copy of the Lego Batman movie. “I told him man, you can’t steal my movie,” Cole said. After getting a written citation for attempting to steal less than $100 worth of merchandise, the man asked to take a selfie with Cole. The officer complied, as long as the suspect promised to not steal in the future.” (chron.com)
Stopped by ‘Batman’ trying to steal a Batman move… the irony…
And… he had the balls to ask for a selfie!
