The trash talk is getting deep!! Up in the land of P.A. they’re accusing the fine folks over at Bridgestone Arena, and the Nashville Predators of “piping in crowd noise.” The weather guy on KDKA-TV, Jeff Verszyla, has said he is “really getting tired of hearing about Nashville’s fans” and that “one Stanley Cup Playoffs does not make a Hockey Town.” Then you have this guy, Dan Kingerski, and his “professional radio ears,” who says that the Predators are piping in crowd noise.” His full statement :”I’m convinced the Bridgestone Arena is using the PA to amp crowd noise. Facts–the arena plays warm-up and in-game music at 110-112dbs, as measured by my own device. At the height of the crowd mania in Game 4, I believe my radio trained ears heard the pops and cracks of over-modulation. Lastly, the sound levels are never shown in the arena, unlike every other arena in which I’ve covered games.”
So here is there twitter accounts if you’d like to let them know what we think of their ‘opinions.’ @Verz is the weather guy on KDKA and the other guy is Dan Kingerski his twitter @Budmoonshine.
