The decomposing body of a sea creature surfaced in Indonesia this week. At first there was a lot of confusion about what it could be. Then experts began to weigh in. “It’s clearly a baleen whale,” said Alexander Werth, a whale biologist at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. Even so it’s still kinda fun to imagine what the Kraken might look like in real life. A dead Kraken of course. Here’s the video:
