Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan surprised a loyal fan in the hospital in Norway last weekend (March 10) after receiving a note from the fan explaining he was unable to attend the band’s concert in Oslo due to undergoing some surgeries.
Donegan stopped by Svein Heibø’s hospital room, chatted a bit, gave him Disturbed tour T-shirts, guitar picks and an autographed drumhead.
“A fan private-messaged me the other day to tell me how bummed he was (because) he planned to see our show in Oslo, Norway but he’s been in the hospital for the past three weeks and underwent two surgeries and wouldn’t be able to come,” Donegan said. “I thought I would drop in to surprise him.”
Donegan told the fan to be sure to keep in contact with him, so that next time they roll through, they can put him on the guest list. Sweet deal for that guy!
In other news, Disturbed plan to hit the studio later this year to start work on an acoustic EP. They then plan to begin sessions for the follow-up to their 2015 studio album, “Immortalized.
