It was really sad to hear about Taylor Force, a grad student at the Owen Graduate School of Management, who was killed during a terrorist attack in Jaffa yesterday in Israel. He was also an Army Vet serving from 2009-2014 at Fort Hood with the 2nd and 4th Brigade Combat Teams, as well as with the 1st Cavalry Division. Force was also deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Our prayers are with his family. If there is any good news about this story, it’s probably the one of Yishay Montgomery. This young man was sitting across the street playing his guitar when the attacks began. He took action charging the attacker and using his guitar and bashing it over the attackers head! Yisha says, ” I was sitting down playing guitar and I heard screaming from across the street,” said the man, who wore a T-shirt of the rock band Tool. “I saw a man run at me with a knife, I ran at him with the guitar and smashed it in his head. He was so stunned and didn’t know what to do with himself….”
Ed Dvir, a Philadelphia resident, has set up a GoFundMe to help replace his guitar. Ed is also in touch with Tool, to see if they would like to get involved.
Bravo young man. Bravo!!!!
