Wait! You mean Jack White was in other bands before The White Stripes? Well duh!! Hell, he keeps starting new band in Nashville. According to ABC Music News, now “Live recordings of some of those bands will now be released as a part of the next package in White’s Third Man Records Vault subscription service.” Included in the package will be live recordings from White’s pre-White Stripes bands Two Star Tabernacle, The Go and Jack White and the Bricks, who were simply known as just the “Jack White Band” during their brief existence. The recordings include some early versions of what would eventually become The White Stripes songs, including “Hotel Yorba” and “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground.”
Check out a clip of “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” with Jack White & The Bricks.
