As Chicken Little would say, ” The sky is falling… the sky is falling!”
NASA has stated that this year’s El Nino is on track to be the worst on record since the El Nino of 1997-98. In that year, it caused an estimated 23,000 deaths worldwide and in the U.S. had an economic impact between $10 billion and $25 billion dollars.
In their latest satellite images of this year’s El Nino, it shows a striking resemblance to those taken in December of 1997.
What does that mean?
Well, it’s not good!
