Remember that one story about the Walmart employee that saved a dog from the inside of a hot car and got fired for it? That’s just one of the crazy stories of people rescuing a dog from a hot car and gets the owner all upset, but you won’t have to worry about that any more in Tennessee.
Since yesterday, July 1st, the state of Tennessee passed a new law that if a dog alone inside a miserably hot car and the owner not around, you can save it. It’s part of the Good Samaritan law that allows you to rescue the dog from the vehicle. As long as one acts responsibly, then you won’t be at fault for saving a life.
