When you’re a huge Rock Star with more money than you really need, how do you spend it? Well if you’re Ozzy, you give to the kids!
The grade-school kids in the Louisville Leopard Percussionists have earned a lot of acclaim with their innovative covers of popular rock songs, and they turned the head of one rock star in particular. After seeing the Leopards’ version of “Crazy Train,” Ozzy Osbourne donated $10,000 to the group, according to the local paper
Last month, Ozzy linked to the LLP’s cover of “Crazy Train” on hisFacebook page. Led Zeppelin‘s Jimmy Page is also a fan, giving the group a shout-out on his Facebook page for their medley of Zeppelin classics.
The Louisville Leopard Percussionists began in 1993 and are made up of more than 60 students aged 7-14.
If I could encourage you to give, please give to kids music programs as often as you can.
