It’s official. Tim Burton confirmed a Bettlejuice sequel after almost 30 years, saying it’s “closer than ever” to the big screen.
Not to mention, Winona Ryder is making a comeback on the flick as well. Tim Burton explains in an interview, “I worked with [Ryder], I hadn’t seen her in awhile … and she was so great. I was so happy to see her. So those kinds of elements mean something to me. Michael (Keaton), and her…and that character, I just miss it, there’s some freedom about that character that I love.”
Believe it or not, his rediscovered love for Winona Ryder was from The Killers on the set of their 2012 video for “Here With Me.”
No time has been confirmed on when the sequel will be released.
