The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Condom Challenge, and Mannequin Challenge were actually kinda fun. The Cinnamon Challenge and the Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge were pretty stupid. I thought we could maybe leave those in 2014, but 2018 is here and there’s probably the dumbest one of all that is now trending… The Tide Pod Challenge.
Not only this is the dumbest one yet, but dangerous! Just why?!?!
The Tide Pod Challenge is where you eat a damn laundry detergent pod. That’s it. I don’t even think there’s a contest involved. If you eat one, you’re a cool kid on the internet I guess.
Even consuming the slightest amount of laundry detergent is extremely poinsonous to your body. NME does a good job at scaring you out of it. Read their take on the challenge HERE.
