How’s that butterfly tattoo on your ankle that you got when you were 18 looking? Or your ex’s name on your neck? Or that really, really bad one when you were drunk that one night in Vegas?
We don’t have to talk about it. But for future decision-making involving ink, I leave you with this.
There’s a company called Ephemeral Tattoos, created by five New York University students that will help you put a stop to your ink that you will regret in the near future; with temporary ink! Or, “erasable tattoos.”
Tech Insider says that “traditional tattoo ink is permanent because the human body can’t break down the large pigments that are injected into the skin. Ephemeral’s version is made up of smaller dye molecules inside a sphere of biomaterials in which the body’s immune season can break down more easily over time.”
And when they say “over time,” they mean roughly a year.
It gets all scientific and stuff. UNILAD has the rest of it HERE.
