Shinedown was teasing the other day on their facebook page, about a big announcement coming. And it’s here. New Album “Threat To Survival” will be released on September 18th.
The rest of the story and what the album means from ABC Music News.
“Threat to Survival refers to that primal instinct in all of us that determines how we respond to crisis and conflict — the idea of ‘fight or flight’ and the choices we make in any given situation,” says frontman Brent Smith in a statement. “This album represents those deciding moments for us as a band. It’s a collection of scenarios that made us who we are, and is, by far, the most autobiographical album we’ve created to date.”
Threat to Survival features the lead single “Cut the Cord,” Shinedown’s ninth song to reach number one onBillboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart. If you pre-order the album on iTunes, you’ll receive an instant download of “Cut the Cord.”
Shinedown is currently on tour ahead of Threat to Survival‘s release with support from Nothing More on select dates. The band will also embark on a fall tour in support of the new album, the details of which will be unveiled soon.
