Nashville International Airport will mark 25 years since 9/11 with its annual Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11th.
According to FOX 17, the ceremony will honor the 2,977 people who lost their lives with reflections on each of the four hijacked flights, a presentation of the colors, Taps, the National Anthem performed by Grand Ole Opry regular Wendy Moten, and a performance of “Amazing Grace” by a bagpiper. BNA will also light its terminal garages in “Memorial Blue” that evening as part of the nationwide Tribute in Lights.
