Haven’t we tried just about everything to make I-24 suck a little less?
Now TDOT, according to FOX 17, is proposing another idea: two new lanes in each direction along about 26 miles between Nashville and I-840, with the new “choice lanes” giving drivers the option to pay a fee for what officials hope will be a faster, more reliable trip between Nashville and Murfreesboro. The existing lanes would remain free, so you can either keep doing I-24 the old-fashioned way or pay to potentially escape the madness.
Hey, at this point, anything helps. Read more from FOX 17 HERE.
