Last night, Nashville Sounds pitcher, Thomas Pannone, threw a perfect game against the Durham Bulls. That means he faced the minimum 27 batters and got everyone of them out. 27 up, 27 down!
This is only the 3rd perfect game in Nashville Sounds history. To tell you how rare a perfect game is, in 150 years of Major League Baseball there have only been 24.
I would’ve hated to be that shortstop on the last out. I can’t handle that much pressure.
