I had the opportunity to host a “Thrash The Charts” show this past Sunday night with Megadeth. It was a celebration of their number one album “Megadeth”.
Fans were treated to an evening of food and drink while mingling with other fans, pictures with the band and a live show, which included 4 plaque presentations to the band.
As a fan of the band for 40 years now, I jumped at the chance to be part of this. Even the stress of the organizers changing the order and script of the presentations at the last second (while Mustaine was waiting on stage for me) didn’t ruin it! I made it through!
It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for sure. -Dagwood
