Lydia West, a 72-year-old Texas woman was just feeding the ducks as she often does at a local park until a gang of geese decided they were fed up with her hogging the breadcrumbs.
The geese went full mob mode, knocked her down, and basically turned her morning stroll into a cartoonishly violent brawl. A couple of heroic strangers happened to be passing by and were brave enough to shoo away the avian mob and called for help. She ended up with a broken pelvis, internal bleeding and will have a challenging road to recovery as she will undergo physical therapy and re-learn to walk.
Now the park’s thinking it may be beneficial to post some more “WARNING: EVIL GEESE” signs or something to warn people of something we all should be well aware of…Geese are dicks.
