Ed Williams, remembered for playing Ted Olson on ABC’s Police Squad! and in The Naked Gun films, died at 98 on October 2nd in Los Angeles. Williams also appeared in Father Of The Bride as the minister who married Annie Banks and Bryan MacKenzie. He continued acting until 2023. Williams is survived by his wife, their children, and grandchildren. (Story URL)

Apple TV and Peacock will launch a joint streaming bundle next week, priced from $14.99 per month. The companies said the plan offers more than 30% savings compared with buying each service separately. A+E has expanded its collaboration with Rachael Ray, ordering 110 new episodes from her production company. Netflix has commissioned a four-part documentary series titled Marines, following the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, known as the U.S. military’s “force in readiness” in the Pacific. It captures the demanding training and personal experiences of young Marines at sea. The series premieres November 10th, coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps. (Story URL)

Snoop Dogg has joined GLAAD to support Spirit Day, an anti-bullying campaign for LGBTQ+ youth. Darius McCrary remains in custody after a San Diego judge denied him bail at his first court appearance.
