Five-year-old William, armed with nothing but determination and tiny legs, snuck through his backyard fence and embarked on a solo mission to Chick-fil-A for breakfast.
He made it there to “Eat Mor Chikin” and was helped by staff and the manager who hooked him up with his little breakfast.
The long arm of the law descended upon him as he asked police who arrived if they were taking him to jail.
He was returned home, not in handcuffs, but as a surprise to the parents who had no idea he even left. William later repaid the officers’ kindness with cookies.
