Even More Upgrades Starting Soon at Nashville Airport

DANG! How much bigger can our airport even get?!

Here’s the lowdown: Nashville International (BNA) is about to close Concourse A on October 3, 2025, so they can completely tear it down and rebuild it…expanded, modernized, and monstrous. The new version, expected to open in July 2028, will pack 16 gates, making it the largest concourse in the airport’s history.

This upgrade is part of BNA’s massive “New Horizon” expansion plan, which also includes:

A newly extended Concourse D (now open, with 5 new gates and an outdoor terrace)
Improved baggage systems, upgraded roadways, and more space to handle future growth
