We’ve all been there, whether you chose to block it from your memory or not, where you accidentally call your teacher “mom” except this is in court and someone else’s livelihood relies on your ability to not screw it up. This lawyer in Colorado accidentally called a female judge “honey” instead of “your honor” and it was as awkward as you could imagine.
It was so awkward, in fact, that he and the judge both had a hard time getting over the mistake, even acknowledging it and not really being able to move forward from there.
Sucks to be this guy’s client watching all this go down.
