Well, after a week of searching (and hilarious memes), the famous Middle Tennessee zebra (apparently named “Ed”) has been found safe. We’re relieved to hear the news!
According to Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office, the zebra was found, secured, and returned to his owner on Sunday morning. He was found near I-24 and airlifted by a helicopter to safety, which was surely terrifying for Ed, but at least he’s safely secured now.
We didn’t expect to see a zebra flying from a helicopter this morning, but here we are… Welcome back home, Ed!!! Scroll down to see the video of his rescue from RCSO.
