Feeling stressed? Some folks take a walk for fresh air. Others light up a joint. In one Turkish town, people got BOTH…whether they wanted to or not.
In Lice (population 25,000), officials burned over 20 tons of seized cannabis right in the middle of town. No incinerator…just bags of weed arranged to spell “L-I-C-E.” This all went down on April 18th, just before 4/20.
The result? A cloud of smoke so thick, people had to stay inside with their windows shut for five days. And no one’s quite sure who thought this was a good idea.
