A Glasgow doctor confessed to recording 30 people using the bathroom without their knowledge, and said he did so to compare his “manhood” to other men. Anaesthetist Ju Young Um reportedly hid these recording devices in air fresheners and a smoke alarm in a bathroom in his apartment. A Glasgow Sheriff Court found him guilty of 23 charges committed between November 2020 and August 2023. “Your victims were friends, colleagues and some who rented a room from you – they were unaware of your activities,” Sheriff Owen Mullan said. The doctor faces jail time and has been suspended from his work as a medical professional. (BBC)
