Facebook just made a “new” feature accessible again that reminds us of the old Facebook. Although… did anyone really miss it?
Some used it as a flex, or a way to flirt. Or if you wanted to get your crush’s attention. “Poke wars” were apparently a thing too. The mid-late 2000’s were a wild time. Facebook didn’t necessarily “bring back” this awkward feature, and it’s been here this whole time. In order to access it, you has to search “poke” to work.
Since the resurface of it, most of the “pokes” had reportedly been from the 18-29 age group. In other words, Gen Z is realizing what they’ve been missing out on all this time.
