At a show in Valencia, Damien Rice began winding down his set when the crowd suddenly kept yelling out “Sinead O’ Connor.”
Confused he asked the crowd what the reference to the late singer was about and they informed him of her passing. Moved, he figured out how to play ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ on the spot and paid a beautiful tribute to her. See below:
