Well, downtown Nashville is about to get more expensive. Beginning February 2023, Nashville drivers will be subjected to pay for parking 24/7.
Currently, it costs about $1.25 an hour to park downtown, but transportation leaders say that price could be going up soon.
Although, there will be some days with exceptions that will not require payment. According to FOX 17, NDOT says,
So there are some holidays in which we would not be charging and we are working with some different churches and we will continue to work with them so we do have some parking that currently surrounds churches…We currently do not charge during church services. We want to continue and represent that but after that, we want to move to the hours of enforcement.
Parking for free was nice while it lasted!! Read more from FOX 17 HERE.
