The Basement East Rises Again

One of the most popular Nashville venues, The Basement East, opened 5 years ago. Sadly there was no big birthday party for the beloved venue, as the venue was extremely damaged in the tornado in East Nashville in early March. Like many fans of the venue, I was nervous what the future held for it, but on May 21st The Basement East Instagram posted a picture we’ve all been waiting to see.

The Basement East is hoping to be re-opened by the end of the year, and after the year 2020 has been so far, that would be something very exciting to look forward to. In honor of the venue re-building and it’s 5 year anniversary, here’s a picture of a secret Cage The Elephant show from 2015. WHAT a show that was and here’s to many more!
