I have encountered too many women in the modeling industry that can’t be happy for the success of others. They get jealous out of insecurities within themselves. I can openly say I have many insecurities but that does not stop me from being proud to see others do well. It does not stop me for wishing the absolute best for everyone around me. Something that those bitter women don’t realize is, you look a lot more attractive when you radiate positivity rather than hate. You also look way better when you walk into a room surrounded by other bad ass women rather than walking in alone. Ladies, let’s empower each other to be our absolute best and true selves. I have really learned a lot about myself and I have grown a lot as a person. Learning how to overcome the darkest times has been my biggest obstacle. The thing that has helped me the most is learning to see the bright side of things. Anyone who knows me personally, knows whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. It’s almost comical. But what that has taught me, is to also always smile through it because some things I just can’t control. One thing I have kind of struggled with is keeping my life private. I used to share everything on social media but I have definitely stopped. But I just wanted to remind people that I am human. I have weak and vulnerable moments. I deal with severe depression and anxiety. I have my whole life. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. So be mindful of how you treat people. Just because life seems perfect from an outside perspective doesn’t mean people aren’t fighting dark battles off the internet.
