Growing up in the north, it’s critical that we always have some sort of “survival bag” in our cars. You know, just in case. I still have one now, even though I don’t think I’ll be stranded in a snowbank in Tennessee anytime soon, but daddy taught me best. Turns out, you don’t need a survival bag (or bread and milk) to survive FIVE days stranded in snow. You just need a few unopened packets of Fire Sauce, apparently.
This 36-year-old from Oregon went on an off-road adventure with his dog recently, fell asleep in his car somewhere in there, and when he woke up, his car was completely submerged in snow. He ended up spending FIVE long ass days in his car, periodically turning his car heater on for warmth, until he was rescued by a snowmobiler. This is all according to PEOPLE.
So how did he and his pooch survive?!?! With a few Taco Bell sauce packets that just happened to be lying around in his car. He later posted to Facebook, “Thank you everyone, I’m safe my Ally dog is safe. I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, lets never do that again. I’ll be in touch with everyone soon.”
FIRE SAUCE SAVES LIVES!!!!!!
