10K Projects Weezer has premiered a new song recorded for the upcoming third Bill & Ted movie, Bill & Ted Face the Music.
The track is called “Beginning of the End (Wyld Stallyns Edit),” and includes a variety of guitar heroics that would make our time-traveling heroes proud. You can download it now via digital outlets.
In addition to the fresh Weezer tune, the Bill & Ted 3 soundtrack will also include new songs from Mastodon, Cold War Kids and Lamb of God. The album will be released on August 28, the same day the film will be out on demand and in select theaters.
Bill & Ted Face the Music, the first film in the series since 1991, stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves reprising their respective titular roles. It also features a cameo from Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler.
