The honor belongs to “Heaven Knows,” a single off their 2014 album, Going to Hell, which officially passed the one million certified units mark earlier in July.
“‘Heaven Knows’ is officially platinum!” Taylor Momsen and company tweeted in response to the news. “Thanks to everyone who’s been listening over the years.”
“Heaven Knows” was also the first Pretty Reckless song to reach number one on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Songs chart. They’ve since achieved that feat four more times, including with their brand-new single, “Death by Rock and Roll.”
