I have another tear-jerking story for this week of No Tail Left Behind. Meet Naveena! She’s a 6-year-old Shepherd mix who’s been through a terrible past, but since Operation Education has come to her rescue, she’s now looking for a foster home, and hopefully her forever home.
From Operation Education:
Naveena was found abandoned on a chain from a meth lab house in White County. She had broken teeth from trying to escape the chain, had fleas all over her body and no hair. We soon realized there was more to her story. She has pancreatic insufficiency where she cannot produce the insulin to aid in digestion and maintain her blood sugar level. She has to take enzymes for the rest of her life. She also has severe allergies that has led to her chronic skin & ear infections. She recently went through allergy testing to hopefully be able to understand what is causing her slhair loss and inflammation. She is on daily medication to help with this problem and receives baths weekly. She is a special sweet girl and is currently looking for a foster home or forever home.
Despite her unfavorable upbringing, she’s still as loving and trusting and playful as can be, as you can see! All she needs is a little love and patience, and she will be a great addition to your family. See Naveena’s profile on Petfinder HERE.
Your donations, no matter how big or small, will benefit pets in need like Naveena, and she wouldn’t be in the much better shape she’s in now without your donations! To help support Naveena and my friends at Operation Education, click HERE.
