Arctic Monkeys-Themed Elephant Structure Built for Hometown Charity Art Project

Jeff Vespa/WireImageArctic Monkeys are taking part in the Herd of Sheffield, a community art project that builds elephant sculptures around the English city. As Sheffield is their hometown, the members of Arctic Monkeys have signed their own elephant statue, which is designed after the cover of the band’s latest album, AM.

The Herd of Sheffield benefits the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The elephants will be on display in the city until October.

Arctic Monkeys are currently taking a break following a long world tour in support of AM. Meanwhile, frontman Alex Turner is on the road with his side project, The Last Shadow Puppets.
