Aljon Go is the voice of 102.9 The Local Buzz and the Buzz Around Town. He also enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, gaming and supporting our Nashville Predators! Originally born in Seattle Washington, this proud Filipino-American moved to Nashville during the rise of MTV. After seeing Van Halen he was inspired to pick up the guitar and write music. At the age of 12 he won a junior songwriting award performing at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Since then he has been performing with many area bands touring the US and around the world supporting US troops overseas as well as hosting local rock radio shows. Go says, “I’ve been around the world and the Nashville rock bands are among the best in the world, if not the best!” He also believes in giving back to the community, a trait attributes to his family upbringing. He regularly hosts various fund-raisers and events for The National Kidney Foundation, Rock the Vote, animal shelters and children’s charities among others. His familiar sign-off has been his signature for many years, "Don't forget to support local rock and become an organ donor today!"

This Friday night, January 2nd , Showtime All-Star Wrestling presents its next big live pro wrestling spectacular, titled “The SAW New Years Brawl.” The event takes place at The SAWMill, located at 1214 B Louisville Highway in Millersville, TN, just two miles past the Rivergate Exit on 1-65. Action gets underway at 8 PM, and as always, SAW prides itself on producing affordable, family oriented sports entertainment, suitable for all ages. All seats are just $8.00 and can be purchased at the door
Among the stars scheduled to appear at this international television taping are former partners, Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas, Arrick Andrews, Hammerjack, and Rick Santel, among others. The event is headlined by not only an International Heayweight Title Match pitting the champion, Kid Kash against challenger Flash Flanagan, but also an anything goes Bootcamp Match b etween “Maniac” Marc Anthony and Gary Valiant.

Rinne playing way into full-time job

Pekka Rinne hardly is a household name around the NHL. But if he keeps playing the way he has recently, he might be soon.
The 26-year-old Finn was almost flawless in goal for the Nashville Predators last week, winning all three of his starts, pitching shutouts in two of them. Rinne blanked the Sabres 2-0 in Buffalo on Monday, then stopped all 32 Minnesota shots he faced in a 1-0 home victory Saturday -- a game he played only because starter Dan Ellis hurt his knee in the morning.
Rinne has won his first six decisions, matching the franchise record held by Ellis. He's played (and won) four of the Preds' last five games, and with a 2.24 goals-against average and .917 save percentage, he's going to make it hard for coach Barry Trotz to avoid giving him more playing time.

Satriani vs Coldplay
Being a songwriter myself it's easy to get influenced by other songs or songwriters. There are only so many notes to choose from after all. The similarities are damn close. I will say that the mashups between the two songs are pretty killer. Coldplay could really kick it up a notch by adding some killer licks from Satch!

In court papers filed in Los Angeles on December 4, 2008, guitarist Joe Satriani says Coldplay's song "Vida La Vida" used "substantial original portions" of his 2004 instrumental "If I Could Fly," from his album Is There Love in Space?
Satriani, 52, wants a jury trial and is seeking damages and "any and all profits" for the alleged plagiarism.
