Jack Skellington that is. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of “Nightmare Before Christmas.” The stop-motion animation musical, about a town of Halloween ghouls who decide to usurp Christmas from Santa Claus, was only the 27th highest-grossing film of 1993. Jack has gained popularity over the years obviously. To me, its a holiday tradition. I watch Nightmare and carve pumpkins. This year it is being shown at The Schermerhorn Symphony Center October 25 and 26th. Don’t think they’ll let me bring my pumpkin in and carve it though.
