This morning during the Can’t Wait To Talk About Blank segment, Matt called in while hiking the Appalachian Trail! He started his hike back in March in Georgia at Springer Mountain in and will most likely finish in late June/early July at Mount Katahdin in Maine.
Matt is retired Air Force and is hiking the trail to raise money for the organization Miles for Nolan, with proceeds going to a young boy named Nolan who has Cerebral Palsy.
It was great to talk to Matt and hear about his adventure thus far and we look forward to hearing from him as his trek continues. What he’s doing is pretty amazing and very selfless.
