Nashville, Tenn. (March 5, 2018) – Tuesday, March 6 marks former Preds captain Mike Fisher’s official return to Smashville and in honor of the occasion and as an extension of the Mike Fisher Legacy Project, Lee Company is proud to partner with the Nashville Predators Foundation to raise additional funds for the charities of Mike’s choice.
To celebrate the historic occasion, Lee Company is giving out “Welcome Back Fish!” t-shirts to the first 1,200 fans in attendance. The Nashville Predators Foundation will also be selling the t-shirts for $20 at the Foundation Area (Section 106/107), along with 300 Fisher-signed pucks which will be sold for $30; fans who receive the two blank pucks will have an opportunity to get them personally signed by Fisher postgame!
“I’m so grateful to make my return to the team and, most importantly, continue to give back to Smashville through the Legacy Project,” Fisher said. “With this project we are able to partner with local nonprofit organizations to effectively meet the needs in our community.”
“Smashville is so excited to see Mike Fisher return to the game,” Lee Company Executive Vice President Gerry Vance said. “His hard work on the ice makes a difference, just as his hard work off the ice positively impacts our community. Lee Company is honored to join Mike in support of the Nashville Predators Foundation. Welcome back, Fish!”
In honor of Fisher’s tireless philanthropic work and the Nashville Predators’ ongoing commitment to the Smashville community, the establishment of the Mike Fisher Legacy Project will provide a living legacy of the values that Fisher and the Preds hold dear.
The Mike Fisher Legacy Project started in October 2017 with a check presentation of $8,000 from the Nashville Predators Foundation and monthly meal services by Preds employees and volunteers for Room in the Inn.
