This marks the Chicago band’s first official appearance of 2018. Disturbed’s last full-scale tour happened back in 2016, and the guys headlined a slew of festivals that year, as well, including Rock on the Range.
Other acts confirmed for the Rock Fest lineup include Rise Against, Halestorm, Bush, Seether, Black Label Society, Dee Snider, Nothing More, Sevendust, Ace Frehley, Fozzy, Autograph, Red, Soil, Otep, Trivium, Pop Evil and Beartooth, to name a few. For the full lineup and additional information, head to the festival’s official website at Rock-Fest.com.
In other news, shortly after announcing their first show of 2018, the Disturbed crew teased new music ahead, which is something that had been on fans’ minds for a while now. On the band’s various social media accounts, the guys shared a photo of a mixing board in a recording studio. The caption of the photo reads, “Getting started…” with the hashtag #DisturbedOnes.
Although there’s no release date as of yet, he new album will mark Disturbed’s follow-up to their chart-topping 2015 album “Immortalized,” which featured the group’s crossover cover of the Simon & Garfunkel classic “The Sound of Silence.”
