Never saw this coming!! It hasn’t been that long since Hugh Hefner’s passing, but Playboy magazines could be right behind him, according to Maxim.
The Wall Street Journal says that Hefner owned a third of the company, and when he passed, it was given to his heirs, soon to be bought out by Rizvi Traverse, the owner of the other two-thirds of the company. Rizvi Traverse is apparently more concerned over the branding of the company, and not so much the publishing. So what does that mean for the magazine that’s been on the shelves for 60+ years??
