Last night (12/13/17) the Nashville Predators played the Vancouver Canucks. After Nashville’s PK Subban scored just one minute and 33 seconds into the game, it seemed the Preds just scored at will the rest of the way.
Well, after Nashville’s 6th goal, Vancouver goalie Anders Nilsson’s frustration boiled over and he broke his stick over the cross bar of the goal and hummed the rest of it into the net causing a stoppage of play so the crew could retrieve it. There was good news for him though…Preds only scored one more on him the rest of the game. So I guess it worked.
Good for him that this game was in Vancouver because had it been on the road in Nashville the crowd would have told him he sucked, too. Insult to injury!
