“I didn’t want to play my guitar anymore. I wanted to smash it.”
We all felt the loss of Malcolm Young on Saturday and saw how it affected some of our favorite bands. This one is my favorite because of the personal story behind it. Even upping the limit to 280 characters isn’t enough for Dave Grohl to say what he needed to say about Malcolm, so he wrote out a tribute on Twitter and played a tribute in concert in Mexico City to honor him over the weekend.
Thank you, Malcolm for the songs, and the feel, and the cool, and the years of losing control to your rock and roll. I will do just that tonight, for you. pic.twitter.com/dnwm1uRFqd
